If you like Parades, Bowling, Volunteering with the Seniors, Rollerskating, Crowns, and just pure FUN! then becoming an Ambassador Candidate is for you!
WHO CAN BE A CANDIDATE?
We accept applications from:
Junior Ambassador Candidates (PDF)
6-9 Years old who live, or go to school in NE Minneapolis (includes Marcy Elementary) or St. Anthony Village.
Junior Miss Northeast Royal Ambassadors: (PDF)
12-13 Years old who live, or go to school in NE Minneapolis (includes Marcy Elementary) or St. Anthony Village.
Miss Northeast Royal Ambassadors: (PDF)
17-21 Years old who live, or go to school in NE Minneapolis (includes DeLaSalle High School) or St. Anthony Village.
It's really fun to experience this with your friends, so let them know too!
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The cost to the individual candidate is $25.00 and that registration fee is due with your application. There is also a sponsorship fee that each candidate needs to secure. The program can help you with this by connecting you with wonderful local businesses that sponsor our candidates in exchange for advertising opportunities.

WHAT IS MY TIME COMMITMENT?
We offer many great experiences for you to take advantage of over a two to three week period. Most candidates want to take advantage of everything offered to make the most of their experience. We work hard to schedule events on evenings and weekends so that you can get the most from this amazing opportunity. However, on occasion, candidates may already have other scheduled commitments that conflict with the candidate activities. Attending the judged events is very important so please contact us if your schedule conflicts with any of the judging dates. |

WHAT IF I JUST WANT TO BE A CANDIDATE AND NOT AN AMBASSADOR?
You can just join us as a candidate and choose not to become an ambassador. Some candidates have participated in more than one year, just for the fun! Most, however, do decide to compete for one of the Royal Ambassador spots. Either way, this is a unique experience and a great opportunity to meet other Northeast Ambassador hopefuls!
